TRIFFLE for you.....

Bismillahirrahmaanrirrahiim....

Last Friday, my office did a small farewell gathering for our three trainees who have been with us for about 4 and the half months.

This time we did not do potluck instead we order for the main dishes. However 'kakak' asked me to do jelly or whatever desert that I can make.

At first, I wanted to do only kunnyaku jelly. But, I ate triffle made by Kak khansa' before. It taste very nice and also it seems so easy to make (I thought).

So, YM kak khansa to get the recipe (^_^)

The ingredients are :

A) Nona's Crystal Jelly
How to make? see the instructions at the back of the box (^_^)

B) Frozen buttercup cake
Just cut and arrange it in the bowl

C) Custard (the though one, thought it was simple)
1 spoon of custard
1 egg yolk
1/2 tin of ideal evaporated milk (kena adjust nanti, ikut rasa and kepekatan)
1 small box of fresh milk
sugar (secukup manis, jgn manis sangat sebab buah and cake dah manis)
Put all the ingredients on the stove and keep stirring until it cook. it will
become thick. But, if you like it not so thick, add a little bit of water. You
must make this last, after your arrange the jelly and the cake.

D) Peaches or any fruits you like.

Get a bowl, arrange A at bottom of the bowl(sometimse people put B first). Then, the cake(jelly, if you put the cake first). Then put the custard.when the custard is cool, arrange the peaches on top of it.



Borrow the pic from the internet. Mine is something look like above(forgot to take pic) only with the peaches on top of the custard.

A triffle is fun to do and it depends on how you decorate your triffle. Only, it took some of your time when you make the custard. Sometimes people make it with the swiss roll cake, put whipping cream. It depends on your taste actually.

Make a trifle now, maybe yours is much more delicious than mine. Ask the officemate, how is it, they said : bley tahanla. Hehehehe, my first attempt at making triffle.
